For as long as I can remember, dancing has been my life! Today we are going to talk all things DANCE, and why it is so good for you!
Dance is a worldwide feel good phenomenon that we all do every now and then even if we won’t admit it. Whether it’s in our bedroom while we get ready for school, or having a jam session in the shower, it releases endorphins and makes us feel good. So how does improve our physical and mental health?
Dancing has so many benefits. We all know that after having a good dance we generally feel happier within ourselves, and it boosts our confidence. But it effects our physical health too! Not only is it good for your coordination and a great for of fun exercise, it is excellent for the health of your heart and lungs because it gets you up and moving to a beat and works up a sweat. Your joints become stronger and your flexibility will keep you from issues with your bones and joints later in life. In terms of mental health, it increases your self-confidence, which also greatly effects your self-esteem.
I encourage all of you beautiful girls to dance EVERY DAY! It doesn’t have to be in front of people, you can just put on your fave playlist in your bedroom for 10 minutes while you’re getting ready every morning, an AMAZING way to start off your day feeling happy and excited!
